First Aid Annual Refresher

This course is for those who have completed an Emergency First Aid at Work, First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid or Emergency Paediatric First Aid course. 

While annual refreshers aren't mandatory, they are highly recommended for best practice as they keep your skills up to date. 

Course content will be custom to the course you are taking a refresher in. 

There are two elements to this course

A 2-3 hour E-Learning training

Then 3-hour face-to-face training (09:00 - 12:00 or 13:00 - 16:00)

This course provides basic life-saving first aid skills and the knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations, covering:

• Resuscitation (CPR)
• Basic defibrillator use
• Communication and casualty care
• Primary survey
• Seizures
• Severe bleeding
• Shock
• Unresponsive patient

There are multiple-choice questions during the E-Learning aspect and you will have continuous assessment from the trainer/assessor running the course. 

Yes! 

On successful completion of this course, you will receive your own First Aid Annual Refresher certificate which is valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
