ALS Med Ltd was founded by two paramedics with a passion for high-quality and affordable event medical cover. Recruiting a range of trusted, well-experienced and dedicated staff, ALS Med promises to provide a world-class service, for an affordable price. With over a decade of event medicine experience, we already have a range of experience in music festivals, sporting, dirt track events, music events, fun fairs and more!

One thing we have noticed with current NHS demand is the increase in wait times. Having an onsite medical team means you can eliminate the lengthy waiting times of responding ambulances from the local ambulance service. We can see, assess, treat and safely discharge patients on-site due to a wide range of clinical skills and equipment at our disposal; thus reducing the demand on the local NHS ambulance service.

We have a plethora of staff and skillsets which include FREC Responders, Frontline Ambulance Staff (Technicians and Paramedics), Advanced Practitioners, Critical Care Team members and a range of command and control staff.

Meet the Team

Alex Blenkiron - Managing Director, Paramedic

Alex has worked for his local NHS ambulance service for 6 years, spent some time working in A&E and now works in Forensic & Legal Medicine within the Criminal Justice System. He has a passion for pre-hospital & emergency medicine. Alex has completed several extra courses such as wound closure & ultrasound and a range of analysis tests, allowing him to prevent further A&E attendances for simple things which can be treated in the community.

Alex has a passion for teaching people new skills. From advanced life support to first aid training, he has delivered hundreds of courses to help enable those willing to learn, to develop new skills to practice.

Our staff have decades of experience in the medical field. All staff are highly trained in emergency medical care and some have completed extra education courses in Pre-Hospital Emergency Care with BASICS charity and other leading organisations, thus ensuring our staff are capable of dealing with anything an event may throw at them.

We believe there is no one better to deliver first aid training than one of our registered First Aid Trainers who in their full-time jobs are Paramedics working in the NHS. Our paramedics can deliver first-hand experience of pre-hospital care.
