We are regulated by The First Aid Industry Body
The First Aid Training that ALS Med provides is recognised by the Health and Safety Executive and The Department for Education (Ofsted) and is accredited & regulated by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB).
The FAIB provides strict standards we as a company have to adhere to when delivering our training.
Our trainers are all HCPC registered paramedics, with enhanced DBS checks, teaching & assessing qualifications and have undergone ALS Med inductions to deliver First Aid training with ALS Med.
We believe there is no one better to deliver First Aid Training than paramedics who can give first-hand experience in delivering pre-hospital care.

Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
(09:00 - 16:30)
- 1-day course that is designed and ideal for first aiders in a less risky environment such as an office or supermarket.
£60 per person
First Aid at Work (FAW)
(09:00 - 16:30)
- 3-day course that is ideal for first aiders in a riskier environment such as factories, warehouses, construction, etc.
£180 per person
Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EPFA)
(09:00 - 16:30)
- 1-day course that is designed and aimed at staff and volunteers who care for or look after children or infants.
- This course is ideal for awareness of Emergency Paediatric First Aid and HSE states that any adult who is in sole charge of a child/children should hold a full Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
£60 per person
Paediatric First Aid (PFA)
(09:00 - 16:30)
- 2-day course that is more in-depth than the EPFA course and is aimed at staff and volunteers who work in a setting with children such as schools, crèches, nursery workers and childminders.
£110 per person
Blended Learning First Aid at Work (FAW)
(09:00 - 16:30)
- 2-day practical course (with E-Learning) that is ideal for first aiders in a riskier environment such as factories, warehouses, construction, etc.
- E-Learning at your own pace in a place of your choice, on a device of your choice (PC/Mac/iPad/Phone), but must be completed before attending the practical training day.

Blended Learning Paediatric First Aid (PFA)
(09:00 - 16:30)
- 1-day practical course (with E-Learning) that is designed and aimed at staff and volunteers who work in a setting with children such as schools, crèches, nursery workers and childminders.

First Aid at Work Requalification
(09:00 - 16:30)
- 2-day course to refresh and prequalify those who have already completed and are being awarded their FULL First Aid at Work qualification.

First Aid at Work & Paediatric First Aid (FAW & PFA)

- 3-day course that is designed and aimed at staff and volunteers who work with children such as schools, crèches, nursery workers and childminders, but who also have a potential need for adult interventions too.

Emergency First Aid at Work & Emergency Paediatric First Aid (EFAW & EPFA)
(09:00 - 17:00)
- 1-day course that is designed and aimed at staff and volunteers who work with children (but aren't the sole carer of the child as this requires the full PFA course), but who also have a potential need for adult interventions too.
£110 per person
Basic Life Support (BLS) & AED
- A 3-hour course designed to provide individuals with fundamental skills and knowledge in basic life support techniques to respond effectively to medical emergencies.
- Perfect for primary care settings, dentists, health care assistants, and those wanting to know the essentials of what to do in a life-threatening emergency.
£35 per person
First Aid for Parents
- An E-Learning course designed for parents who wish to gain and develop the knowledge behind childhood medical emergencies but also gain an understanding of how to manage common childhood illnesses.
- This course can be completed in your own time at your own pace with multiple questionnaires and interactive videos with a short end-of-course assessment.
£20 per person
Annual First Aid Refresher
(09:00 - 12:00)
- 3-hour course that is designed and aimed at staff who have completed their FAW, PFA, EFAW or EPFA courses and wish to complete an annual refresher to maintain the skills and knowledge from the full course.
- There will be a 2/3-hour online learning aspect before attending the face-to-face element.
