We believe there is no one better to deliver First Aid Training than paramedics. Our paramedics have a wealth of experience in the NHS and deal with pre-hospital care day in and day out. Before the days when health and safety got very tight and public safety was a large concern, a simple First Aider & First Aid Box would have sufficed for small events however, as times have gone on and events have grown in size and popularity, a specific medical team for an event has proven to be beneficial. An event medical team can provide you with the least amount of stress and worry about the "medical side" of your event.
Every event no matter how small or large it is requires a form of public liability insurance. ALS Med is proud to say we are fully insured with Public and Employee Liability Insurance, Professional Indemnity Insurance & Medical Malpractice.
Depending on the size of your event will depend on what level of cover you need. For example, for a small fayre, we may suggest 2-4 First Aiders. If your event was a large festival or fun run etc. then we would recommend having at least 1 Health Care Professional due to the potential of serious medical emergency or injury occurring.
We build our event medical provision around the 'Purple Guide' which is strict guidelines for the level of medical provision that is required for each event. This is why no two events will be the same.
