These ambulances are kitted out to the national NHS Ambulance specification ensuring all kit is regularly serviced and the content is up to date.
Although we aim to prevent hospital admission, sometimes you just can't avoid A&E no matter what. Having an ambulance on site means there is no delay in waiting for an NHS Ambulance meaning the patient can be conveyed straight away.
Staffed by Ambulance Technicians & above, our Cycle Response Units carry the same equipment as what would be expected on an NHS Rapid Response Vehicle (just in a smaller quantity).
From observation equipment and defibrillator to wound care and life support equipment.
These are handy for those busy/high footfall events where vehicle access would be difficult.
These vehicles can either be staffed by solo clinicians such as our Paramedics or Specialist Paramedics, or the vehicle can be used as our Enhanced Care Team which will be staffed by our clinicians who work in critical care.
These vehicles are kitted out to NHS standard and have extra equipment on to support our teams such as a ventilator, Lucas device and extended skills kit.
Our staff are all employed by the NHS in their day jobs and provide emergency care to patients in need, meaning they all have first-hand patient care experience.
Each event will receive its own bespoke risk assessment and medical plan and will also be shared with other local authorities where necessary.
Whatever the day, whatever the time, we are here 24 hours a day 7 days a week to provide cover for your event
Although based in the West Midlands we are capable of providing medical cover to your event anywhere in England.
